This is a continuing education module open to anyone who has completed the Health Core, Nursing Assistant, Home Health or the Patient Care Assistant components of Patient Care Technician or any other health care professional seeking the skill and information associated with Phlebotomy. Following completion of this module, you will be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to perform phlebotomy, and practice accepted procedures of transporting, accessioning and processing specimens. REGISTERING STUDENT MUST SHOW PROOF OF a.) Completing a minimum of 90 hours in basic health career information, b.) TB Test, Drug Test and FDLE Level II Background Check required before second week of class.
