The program prepares persons for employment at the aide/orderly level with hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, and other health care centers. This course is offered several times a year. TB Test and FDLE Level 2 Background Check are required before the start of class. This program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and will prepare you to take the State Certification exam.

Course Name: Nursing Assistant (Articulated)

Prerequisites: Completion of registration information/requirements.
Class schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (4:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
Clinical schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
Start date: August 6, 2013
End date: October 9, 2013
