Learn to perform administrative and certain clerical duties including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes.
Clinical duties include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by the physician. Students attend CTC fulltime their senior year.
Completion of this course allows articulation to any community college in Florida equal to 18-21 credits.
