A one year program designed to introduce students to medical terminology and medical skills. Students most often take this course as a beginning foundation for the other health sciences programs offered at CTC (Nursing Assistant, Practical Nursing, or Dental Assisting). Both courses are prerequisite for the Medical Assisting program. This course is only offered during the mid-day at CTC. It is also offered on the CHS and LBHS campuses.
